We have an excellent Volunteering programme for individuals of all ages, tailored to their interests and preferences. Free lodging and boarding is provided to all the volunteers of high standard. During volunteering, all aspects of special education of Deaf, blind and Deafblind children are covered including institutional visits. The format of volunteering is attached for greater clarity.
Society for Welfare of the Handicapped welcomes volunteers from all over the world. The schools are located in the Royal City of Patiala, (Punjab), which is approximately 250 km from New Delhi. The city is well connected to New Delhi by road, rail and by air Via Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab. Schools are residential and Co-educational with working Hours from 9 am to 2 pm, followed by a games period.
